About the Role
Memorial Hermann Health System is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team in Houston. You will provide essential care to patients under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your support is critical to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, eating)
- Take vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Help with transferring, repositioning, and ambulating patients
- Answer patient call lights promptly
- Document care provided accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in the state of Texas
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
