About the Role
Provide essential patient care at Memorial Regional Hospital. Support nursing staff with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort. This position plays a critical role in our healthcare delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, grooming, and hygiene
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Transfer patients safely using appropriate equipment
- Assist with mobility and range-of-motion exercises
- Respond to patient call lights promptly
- Document care provided in electronic health records
- Report changes in patient condition to RN
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in Texas
- BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Empathy and strong communication skills
- Flexibility for rotating shifts
