About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to manage the transportation and delivery of goods. The coordinator will schedule shipments, track inventory, and ensure timely deliveries. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule shipments
- Track inventory and monitor stock levels
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Maintain records and documentation of shipments
- Resolve any transport-related issues and delays
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide customer support and address delivery inquiries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
