About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide care to patients under the supervision of nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and a commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing and dressing
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Maintain cleanliness and order in patient rooms and common areas
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care
- Ensure patient safety and follow infection control procedures
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Criminal background check and clearances
