About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. You will provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring comfort and safety for residents. This role is critical in maintaining the well-being of our patients and supporting the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring patients to wheelchairs or walkers.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Document patient interactions and care provided.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- CPR certification preferred.
