About the Role
We are looking for a City Planner to develop and implement urban planning strategies to enhance city infrastructure and improve quality of life. This role involves conducting research, creating plans, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on urban planning issues
- Create and implement urban design and development plans
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and community groups
- Ensure compliance with zoning laws and regulations
- Prepare and present reports to city officials and the public
- Stay current with best practices and trends in urban planning
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 5+ years of experience in urban planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with GIS and urban planning software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of zoning laws and regulations
