About the Role
Drive predictive analytics strategy for our healthcare division by creating models that improve patient outcomes. You’ll lead a team developing AI solutions for clinical decision support and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create predictive models using healthcare datasets
- Lead development of NLP systems for clinical notes
- Design experiments and statistical analyses
- Collaborate with medical professionals on solution design
- Mentor junior data scientists
- Present findings to executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Explore generative AI applications for healthcare
Requirements
- PhD in Statistics, Bioinformatics or related field
- 8+ years healthcare data science experience
- Expertise in SQL, Python/R, and ML frameworks
- Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (HIPAA)
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with cloud healthcare APIs
- Leadership experience in technical teams
