About the Role
Provide direct patient care in a 300-bed acute care facility. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in fast-paced med-surg unit.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor patient vitals and status changes
- Document care in EHR system
- Educate patients/families on discharge plans
- Supervise nursing assistants
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain infection control protocols
Requirements
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- BLS/ACLS certification
- 2+ years med-surg experience
- Strong IV skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Electronic health records proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
