About the Role
We are hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care and assistance to patients in a healthcare setting. The role involves basic patient care, monitoring vital signs, and supporting the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Perform basic medical tasks such as administering medications (as trained) and managing medical equipment.
- Assist with patient hygiene and mobility.
- Support the nursing team in various procedures and tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Document patient care and keep accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Completed certified nursing assistant program.
- Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
- Proficiency in basic medical tasks and patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient care and mobility.
- Adaptability to handle various patient situations.
