About the Role
Provide essential patient care in a skilled nursing facility, assisting residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Help with mobility and transfers
- Serve meals and assist with feeding
- Document care provided in medical records
- Respond to call lights promptly
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in state
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification
- Physical ability to lift/move patients
- Strong infection control knowledge
- 6+ months experience in long-term care
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
