About the Role
SunFire Energy seeks a Chief Engineer to lead utility-scale solar projects. You’ll design 500MW+ farms, optimize storage systems, and liaise with government regulators.
Responsibilities
- Oversee EPC contracts
- Maximize kWh/kWp ratios
- Integrate battery storage solutions
- Ensure NEC/IEEE compliance
- Negotiate with Tier 1 suppliers
- Test bifacial panel innovations
Requirements
- PE license required
- MSc in Electrical Engineering
- 15+ years in solar development
- Experience with PVsyst/SAM
- Knowledge of FERC regulations
- Willingness to visit construction sites
