About the Role
We need a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor. This supervisor will oversee daily operations in our fast-paced warehouse, ensuring smooth running, accurate inventory management, and a safe work environment, as well as the efficient movement of goods from shipping to picking.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of warehouse workers and coordinate their tasks
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts
- Supervise the receiving, storage, and shipping of merchandise
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Train and develop warehouse staff on procedures and best practices
- Prepare and review daily and weekly reports on warehouse activities
- Implement and improve warehouse processes for efficiency
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overtime and ensure continuous operations
