About the Role
Join our resort’s culinary team that prepares fresh, delicious meals for thousands of guests. You’ll prepare and preprocess ingredients, maintain quality and cleanliness standards, and support our line cooks. Your work ensures consistent food quality for diverse palates.
Responsibilities
- Chopped vegetables, meats, and seafood based on recipes
- Prepare sauces, dressings, and cooking stocks
- Portion pre-measured ingredients for meal service
- Perform inventory counts and food storage management
- Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene protocols
- Assist with setting up and breaking down meal service stations
- Provide backup support during busy meal rushes
- Sanitize workstations and kitchen equipment regularly
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or culinary school degree
- Previous experience in commercial kitchens preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food prep
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks and work standing
- Strong attention to detail for quality control
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including holidays
- Professional demeanor and teamwork orientation
- Pass food handler’s permit and health screening
