About the Role
Provide essential care in our skilled nursing facility. You’ll assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and communicate with care teams. Your compassion makes a difference in our residents’ quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to RN/LPNs
- Help with transfers and mobility support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms
- Document patient care services accurately
- Support residents’ emotional needs through companionship
- Participate in care plan meetings
- Adhere to infection control policies
Requirements
- Current CNA certification (must be state-approved)
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- CPR/AED certification
- Basic nursing and patient care skills
- Strong communication and empathy
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Pass criminal background check
