About the Role
Bright Horizons Academy seeks a passionate Elementary School Teacher to inspire young minds in a collaborative environment. You’ll develop engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom culture, and work closely with families to support student success.
Responsibilities
- Create differentiated lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations
- Implement positive behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with grade-level team on curriculum development
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences twice annually
- Integrate technology into daily instruction
- Maintain accurate student records
- Participate in professional development workshops
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- State teaching certification (multiple subject)
- 2+ years classroom experience preferred
- Knowledge of Common Core standards
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficiency with educational technology
- Excellent communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
