About the Role
Support classroom teachers in creating an engaging learning environment for K-5 students. Assist with lesson preparation, individualized student support, and classroom management. Play a vital role in our literacy intervention program.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teacher with lesson plan implementation
- Provide one-on-one reading support for struggling students
- Supervise students during lunch and recess periods
- Prepare classroom materials and visual aids
- Track student progress using digital systems
- Communicate with parents about student needs
Requirements
- High school diploma (required)
- Associate’s degree in education (preferred)
- 1+ year experience working with children
- Basic technology proficiency
- Valid fingerprint clearance card
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
