About the Role
Sunrise School District seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to serve K-5 students with diverse learning needs. You’ll develop IEPs, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Track and report student progress
- Collaborate with related service providers
- Maintain positive parent communication
- Adapt curriculum materials
- Manage classroom behaviors
Requirements
- Valid state teaching certification
- Special Education endorsement
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Knowledge of IEP process
- Patience and creativity
- Classroom management skills
- Willingness to participate in PD
