About the Role
Lincoln Elementary seeks a dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher to join our team, fostering academic growth and social development in young learners. You’ll implement engaging lesson plans and create an inclusive classroom environment. This role is essential in building strong educational foundations and shaping future community members.
Responsibilities
- Develop standards-aligned lesson plans
- Create differentiated instructional materials
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain positive classroom management
- Collaborate with colleagues and specialists
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Illinois teaching certification (K-5)
- 1+ year teaching experience (student teaching accepted)
- Knowledge of Common Core standards
- Classroom management skills
- Background check clearance
- CPR/First Aid certification
