About the Role
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, and shipping for a major distribution center. Lead a team of associates, optimize workflows, and ensure safety compliance. Utilize warehouse management systems for maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse associates
- Manage receiving, storage, and shipping workflows
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts
- Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance
- Respond to urgent shipping priorities
- Conduct performance evaluations and training
- Report on operational KPIs and metrics
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years warehouse leadership experience
- Proficiency with WMS and inventory systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment
- Forklift certification required
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
