About the Role
Mid-level role performing water quality testing and analysis for our municipal water system. Responsibilities include laboratory testing, field sampling, and ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Collect water samples from reservoirs and treatment facilities
- Perform bacterial and chemical analysis using EPA methods
- Calibrate laboratory equipment
- Prepare regulatory compliance reports
- Identify irregularities in water treatment processes
- Coordinate with field operations teams
- Maintain detailed sample documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or environmental science
- 2+ years laboratory experience
- Knowledge of EPA water quality regulations
- Ability to pass background check
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to handle sampling equipment
- Detail-oriented documentation skills
