About the Role
Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors to patients of all ages in a busy healthcare setting. This role involves monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with personal care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and symptoms
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians or registered nurses
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities
- Change dressings and apply bandages
- Report changes in patients’ condition to the supervising nurse or doctor
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Support patients and families in understanding care plans
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN training program
- Active LPN license in the state of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
