Operate welding machines to join metal parts. Ensure high-quality welds and adhere to safety protocols. Contribute to the production process by working efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate welding machines according to specifications.
- Inspect materials and components for defects.
- Weld parts following predefined templates and guidelines.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the work area.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues.
- Work collaboratively with other team members.
- Maintain production records and documentation.
- Stay updated with new welding techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in welding or relevant experience.
- Proficient in using welding equipment and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic math skills.
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent/ 1 year.
