Horizon Academy seeks an enthusiastic 3rd grade teacher to create engaging lesson plans and foster academic growth in our diverse student population.
Responsibilities
- Develop standards-aligned curriculum
- Differentiate instruction for varied learners
- Conduct formative assessments
- Lead parent-teacher conferences
- Supervise recess and lunch periods
- Implement PBIS strategies
Requirements
- Illinois teaching certification (K-6)
- ESL endorsement preferred
- 1+ year classroom experience
- Knowledge of RTI frameworks
- Proficiency with Google Classroom
- Commitment to trauma-informed practices
