About the Role
American Metal Works seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee day shift operations at our Detroit facility. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while leading a team of 25 production workers.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily production schedules
- Monitor quality control standards
- Train and develop team members
- Ensure OSHA compliance
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Maintain equipment efficiency metrics
- Enforce safety protocols
Requirements
- 5+ years manufacturing experience
- 2+ years supervisory experience
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Availability to work occasional weekends
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
