About the Role
Provide basic nursing care and work under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. Ensure patient comfort and safety, and contribute to the overall healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the RN or doctor.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Maintain patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- State Licensure as a Practical Nurse.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competent in basic nursing procedures.
- Empathy and patience in dealing with patients.
