About the Role
Blue Sky Electrical Services is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician to join our team. You’ll install and maintain electrical systems in homes and residential communities, ensuring safety and compliance with codes. Your expertise contributes to creating safe and energy-efficient living spaces for our valued clients.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Install outlet boxes, switches, and fixtures safely
- Troubleshoot and repair residential electrical problems
- Conduct safety inspections for compliance with NEC standards
- Consult with clients to understand wiring needs for renovations
- Maintain accurate records of materials and labor used on projects
- Train apprentices on industry best practices
- Respond swiftly to emergency service calls
Requirements
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license in AZ
- Minimum 4 years residential electrical experience
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) updates
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex installations
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy materials and climb ladders
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
