About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans
- Assess student progress through formal and informal testing
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies
- Collaborate with teachers to coordinate interdisciplinary units
- Communicate regularly with parents about student achievement
- Implement differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Participate in professional development and faculty meetings
- Mentor student teachers and provide guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid state teaching certification for Elementary Education
- Minimum 2 years classroom teaching experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for working with children at the elementary level
- Experience using technology-enhanced instruction
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
