About the Role
Lincoln Elementary seeks an innovative 3rd grade teacher to develop engaging lesson plans and foster student growth. You’ll create an inclusive classroom environment using differentiated instruction. This role requires a passionate educator dedicated to academic excellence and social-emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement standards-aligned lesson plans
- Develop individualized education strategies for diverse learners
- Administer assessments and track student progress
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Lead classroom management following PBIS framework
- Integrate technology into daily instruction
- Collaborate with special education staff
- Maintain accurate student records
Requirements
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Endorsement in Elementary Education (K-9)
- Experience with project-based learning strategies
- Knowledge of Common Core State Standards
- Proficiency with educational technology platforms
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass background screening
